That proudly advertising of traceablilty is fake. I entered the lot numbers from various bottles found in different stores, and I ALWAYS get "invalid lot number" error. I ended up buying a bottle regardless. The olive oil itself is average, good for cooking but nothing special for salad dressings or dips.
My in-laws, who dislike strong flavors, are in love with this olive oil and have a new bottle whenever I’m there. And I can see why they like it. You can’t tell it’s olive oil. Which, if you’re cooking and baking, is just what you want. I adore strong flavors, though, and would only use this for baking. Soup? Salad? Veggie? Chicken? Dipping or drizzling? Give me that bright robust olive oil flavor, the grassier the better in my book. I would personally never buy this olive oil except for baking sweets
We used to use extra virgin olive oil from Costco brand in Edmonton Alberta but since we use this brand we fall in love with taste and high quality.
Our family loves this oil. We could not find it at Whole Foods anymore :( I had to get two bottles delivered.
